A boring technical post - Window Frame Construction: After cutting the body and installing a handmade sliding-glass window, the aluminum frame is set with a 3M waterproof seal. The walls are then insulated with fire and sound proof insulation. I’ve updated my interior frame to a 1/16” handmade Aluminum/inner, Gunstock Walnut/outer. - The thicknesses of the materials are hand selected and appropriate in application. Just like the finest firearms, Walnut and Aluminum both provide long-term weather and corrosion resistance. - Fastened together with locking stainless and brass hardware, my interior aluminum panels are hand-riveted to the body with over 1000 Aluminum rivets on 2” spacing. I am the only manufacturer in the business (besides Airstream) to use a riveted sheet metal interior. - The result is a thin, light, vibration-resistant, strong, functional, and attractive design. Everything structurally framed with aluminum and steel. This is simply the best construction method and material in the business.
